Lost star Naveen Andrews adores living in Los Angeles, despite his initial snobbery towards America.

The English actor, who lives in sunny Santa Monica with his beloved girlfriend Barbara Hershey, 57, first moved across the Atlantic for rehabilitation, as he had spiraled into a drug and booze nightmare which turned him against the British capital forever.

But now he is clean, the 36-year-old star is overjoyed at how easily he fitted into the American lifestyle, and has never looked back.

He enthuses, "I never grasped how incredible a place Los Angeles can be.

"Being English, I dismissed it out of envy and snobbery. But there's so much to it."
