Kylie Minogue Mortified by TV Interview  8/2/06

Spinning Around singer Kylie Minogue dreaded going on television to talk about her battle with breast cancer, but forced herself to do the interview for her fans, her sister Danni reveals.

Kylie, 38, is currently in remission and knew her supporters wanted to hear directly from her how she was doing.

She appeared on Sky One in the UK last month (JUL06), where she revealed how she and her sister had become closer than ever during her illness.

Dannii explains, "It's nice to think that something you've done your whole life as a career, which seems so small have such a big impact.

"(The TV interview) wasn't something Kylie wanted to do, but she obviously understands people want to know.

"It shows how generous her spirit is, always, even under incredible pressure."
