Teri Hatcher Hints at Happy Ending for Desperate Housewives Susan  8/9/06

Teri Hatcher has promised fans her lovelorn character Susan Mayer will ultimately settle down with hunky plumber Mike Delfino.

Single mother Mayer's relationship with the Wisteria Lane hunk - played by James Denton - has been on and off, but Hatcher insists when the show eventually ends in a few years time, the couple will be for keeps.

She says, "Marc (Cherry, the executive producer) has promised that, ultimately, Susan and Mike will end up together."
