Jennifer Aniston's People Play Down New Engagement Reports  8/10/06

Jennifer Aniston's publicist is firing back at new reports the actress has accepted a marriage proposal from boyfriend Vince Vaughn.

American magazine Us Weekly has the headline 'Vince Proposes' blasted across its front page today (09AUG06), but Aniston's people insist the news is premature.

The actress' longtime publicist Stephen Huvane says, "It is not true. There is no engagement."

Us Weekly reports the couple became engaged on 27 June (06) after spending a nine-day vacation in Mexico together.
