"Big Brother: All-Stars" Wins Its Time Period in Viewers and Key Young Adult Demographics

"Rock Star: Supernova" Places Second in Key Demos, Matching Its Best Tuesday Deliveries in Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54

Last night's edition of BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS delivered its largest Tuesday audience of the summer, best rating in adults 25-54 while ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA TUESDAY matched its best viewer and key demo deliveries according to Live Plus Same Day National Nielsen ratings for Aug. 8.

BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS TUESDAY finished first in households (4.9/09), viewers (7.48m), adults 25-54 (3.3/10), adults 18-49 (2.8/09) and adults 18-34 (2.6/09). Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS TUESDAY was up +4% in households (from 4.7/08), +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.2/09), +13% in adults 18-34 (from 2.3/08), added +150,000 viewers (from 7.33m, +2%) and even in adults 18-49. This is BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS TUESDAY's best delivery in households, viewers and adults 25-54.

ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA TUESDAY (3.9/06, 6.28m) was second in adults 25-54 (3.3/08), adults 18-49 (2.9/08) and adults 18-34 (2.3/07). This matches ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA TUESDAY's best performance in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

CBS (4.5/08, 6.91m) finished tied for first in primetime Tuesday night in adults 18-49 (2.7/08, with NBC) and adults 25-54 (3.1/08, with NBC).
