Actress Jessica Simpson has never been happier following her divorce, because she has discovered a new perspective on life.

The sexy singer/actress, 25, split from former boy band star Nick Lachey in November (05) after a stormy three-year marriage which was documented on the reality TV show Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.

And she is convinced she can now realize all of her career ambitions, after her divorce went through in June (06).

She says, "I feel free, independent and strong. Once I realized how much I really did want from life, I took on a whole new perspective."
