Britney Spears and Kevin Federline to Renew Vows  8/13/06

Pop star Britney Spears and her husband Kevin Federline are planning to rise above criticisms of their marriage by renewing their wedding vows.

Spears, 24, married the wannabe hip-hop star in 2004 and the couple have a baby son Sean Preston.

And although Federline recently admitted their partnership "needed work", the pair are determined to return to their harmonious honeymoon period for the sake of a happy family life.

Spears says, "We aim to put paid to all the nasty rumors about our marriage."

The "small, intimate ceremony" is scheduled for sometime after the birth of their second child, due in October (06).
