Jennifer Lopez Develops Latina Comedy  8/17/06

Actress/singer Jennifer Lopez is producing a new comedy series about Los Angeles' diverse suburb of Echo Park.

The series, which is being developed for US cable network F/X, will take a comedic look at the mix of yuppie, Latino and hipster cultures within the Los Angeles neighborhood.

This is the third show Lopez has developed with producing partner Simon Fields.

The pair have also produced the MTV series Moves, a dance-based reality show revolving around six amateur dancers and the short-lived primetime soap South Beach.
