Evangeline Lilly Faces Plane Boredom  8/21/06

Lost star Evangeline Lilly is dreading flying following the strict new security measures enforced to avert terrorist attacks on planes - because she can no longer sew.

The actress uses a needle and thread to while away hours jetting between the US, her Canada home and the Hawaii set of the TV drama - but can no longer pack the essential equipment, because all dangerous objects, as well as liquids, have been banned from hand luggage.

She tells Celebrity Week, "What drives me crazy is that I can't bring my needle and thread on a plane. I really like to sew."
