Justin Timberlake's Mother: "I Feel Sorry For Britney Spears" 8/22/06

Justin Timberlake's manager/mother has spoken of her ongoing love for her son's ex, Britney Spears, confessing she fears she's going through hell in the tabloids.

Lynn Harless admits Spears "grew up on my living room floor" and she was devastated when the pop superstar and her son split up.

But while Timberlake's career goes from strength to strength, his ex has all but quit the business to become a mum, wife and tabloid target.

Harless says, "I still love her to death. They (Justin and Britney) were together 10 of 11 years and had, from day one, that chemistry between them.

She's a sweet girl. I just hate what she's going through now."
