Teenage Desperate Housewives star Joy Lauren is dreading the filming of upcoming scenes in which she has to give birth - because she has no idea what a mother in labor acts like.

The young actress, who plays Danielle Van De Kamp on the hit show, admits she doesn't know where to turn to get the information she needs.

Lauren tells internet gossip columnist Marc Malkin, "I was thinking of going on YouTube or something, but I'm afraid of what I'll find.

"I've never been to a birth or seen one, so all I have to go on is movies and stuff like that. A friend of mine offered to take me to Lamaze class, and I was like, 'No!'"
