Kylie Minogue Mistaken for Waitress  8/1/07

Pop superstar Kylie Minogue was reportedly mistaken for a waitress during filming for her upcoming cameo appearance in British sci-fi series Dr. Who.

The Spinning Around hit maker - who was dressed in a traditional black uniform - was shooting scenes at a Welsh hotel when an elderly customer thought the singer was a member of staff.

A source tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, "It was absolutely omical.

"Kylie is an international star but obviously this old dear didn't know who she was. She said to Kylie: 'Excuse me, love, is it too late for a cup of tea?'

"Kylie saw the funny side and just laughed. I don't think she knew if the lady was serious or not and just carried on into the film set."

Minogue plays a waitress called Astrid on doomed ship Titanic in the show's one-hour Christmas special called Voyage Of The Damned.
