Hotel heiress Paris Hilton is heartbroken over the sale of her Hollywood mansion but maintains it's the only way to regain her privacy.

The troubled star plans to purchase a more secluded spot where she can escape the prying eyes of the press, but is devastated it means relinquishing her current #2 million ($4 million) pad.

She says, "I feel like a lot of people know where I live so it's time to move.

"I'm really upset because I love my house so much. I put so much work into it. It's totally me. But I'm looking for something else right now."

Media interest in Hilton is at an all-time high after the socialite served 23 days of a 45-day jail sentence last month (Jun07) for violating probation on a 2006 drunk driving charge.
