Aussie Broadcaster Keeps Job After Harry Potter Shock Reveal  8/7/07

Aussie broadcaster Jonathan Coleman has been reinstated to breakfast TV show Sunrise after a Harry Potter gag prompted viewers to complain.

Coleman was temporarily suspended from the show last week (ends03Aug07) after he revealed the ending to the seventh and final Potter book, devastating thousands of young fans.

Parents bombarded the program's website and switchboard with complaints about Coleman's comments and the broadcaster was cut from the show, pending a viewers vote as to whether he should return as the morning show business reporter.

More than 71 per cent of 3,500 Sunrise fans who took part in the vote opted to forgive Coleman and let him keep his job.
