Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes Shunned in France  8/8/07

Superstar couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were left fuming when doormen turned them away from a nightclub in St. Tropez, France.

The husband and wife turned up at celebrity hangout the Caves du Roi in the Byblos Hotel on Friday (03Aug07) for a night out, but were turned away despite their A-list status because the venue was too full.

A hotel spokeswoman confirms, "It would have been dangerous to allow any more people in - whoever they were."

Among celebrities who were allowed into the party was Sean 'Diddy' Combs.
