Pink and Shirley Bassey Plan Duet  8/13/07 

 

Pop star Pink was so impressed by Dame Shirley Bassey's version of her hit Get the Party Started, she is planning a duet with the veteran singer.

Bassey recorded a version of the hit track for an album of the same name earlier this year (Jun07) to celebrate her landmark 70th birthday.

And Pink - real name Alecia Moore - admits she was so pleased with the star's album, he is planning a future collaboration.

She says, "She has a great voice and I have a fantastic idea for a song for both of us."
