Hayden Panettiere Gets Cheerleader Chance 8/22/07
Hayden Panettiere was thrilled to play a cheerleader in Heroes, because she missed out on the chance to be one in real life. The 18-year-old actress has been acting since she was tiny and was forced to leave school at a young age to work on film sets. She says, "I was so lucky to be popped into the cheerleader's outfit. I was never a cheerleader because I left school at the age of 16, then I made a film in Africa and after that I was schooled at home."
