British heartthrob Jude Law regards his remake of classic 60s movie Alfie
a flop.
The actor admits he was disappointed with the 2004 version of the Sir
Michael Caine classic.
Speaking at the Venice Film Festival, Law says, "It didn't turn
out the way I wanted it to.
"But part of the reason you embark on a creative journey is to
sometimes fall flat." Caine himself has hit out at the culture
of remakes while at the festival.
He says, "If you remake a good film, you're on a hiding to
nothing."
