Johnny Depp Eyes U.K. Move 8/5/08

Hollywood actor Johnny Depp is considering a move to the U.K - he has reportedly been househunting in the English countryside.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star currently lives in France with his long-term girlfriend Vanessa Paradis and their two children.

But Depp is rumored to be looking to buy a country estate in Norfolk, England after he reportedly viewed an $11 million (£5.5 million) mansion just outside the East Anglian city of Norwich.

Last month (Jul08) the actor thrilled a group of local children by donating signed photographs to a neighborhood troop of Girl Scouts - fuelling speculation he is planning a move to the area.

The real estate agent handling the property has refused to confirm rumors that Depp has put in an offer, saying, "We can't confirm who we've been talking to about the estate. "There has been a lot of interest but we cannot disclose the names of any potential purchaser."
