Britney Spears' Former Lawyer Wants $481,000 8/19/08

Britney Spears' lawyer is fighting for her fee - a whopping $481,000 (£240,500) for four months work.

Stacy Phillips has filed a declaration, in which she states her rate is $700 (£350)-an-hour - and she wants payment.

In court documents obtained by TMZ.com, Phillips claims she put her honeymoon on hold for her former client before she was dismissed as the pop star's legal counsel.

Sources tell the website Phillips is preparing to sue Spears for non-payment of fees.
