Ne-Yo's Public Apology To Lindsay Lohan 8/20/08
R&B singer Ne-Yo has publicly apologized to Lindsay Lohan for doubting her
musical talents before collaborating with her in the recording studio.
The singer/songwriter admits he had reservations about working with the
actress on Bossy, the song he wrote for her forthcoming third studio LP
Spirit in the Dark.
But he claims he was pleasantly surprised after hearing the Mean Girls
star's "ridiculously fabulous" vocal abilities - and he now wants to say
sorry for his initial skepticism.
Speaking to entertainment channel E!, he says: "Miss Lindsay Lohan, I
apologies if you are watching. I am sorry. There we go. "Straight up and
down I thought it was gonna suck. I was like, Lindsay Lohan are you
joking? Are you serious?
What the hell am I going to do for Lindsay Lohan? I took it as a
challenge. And we put together a record for her. "It's a quality record.
One that I didn't think she was going to be able to pull off.
Again, I will admit that. Straight up and down. I had to eat my words. I
tried to call her and apologies for the assumption."
