Kylie Minogue's Diary to Inspire Cancer Sufferers  12/5/05

Pop beauty Kylie Minogue is planning to publish a "Diary of Hope" to comfort other cancer sufferers.

The I Believe in You star, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in May (05), has been keeping a journal of her thoughts and feelings throughout her ordeal.

A source says, "Kylie knows she is in a position of influence and wants to use that positively by writing this diary.

"She believes that by sharing her experiences she can provide encouragement to those in a similar situation.

"She wants to get the message over that cancer can strike anybody, no matter how rich and famous.

"It will be a poignant and powerful read."
