Ashanti Launches New Denim Line  12/7/05

R&B star Ashanti has become the latest celebrity to enter the fashion world, after launching her own denim collection.

The singer unveiled her new Delicious Curves denim collection by Mudd at New York City department store Macy's, and she hopes it will encourage women to embrace their shapely bodies.

She says, "It's a wonderful idea to let girls know that women's curves are beautiful. Don't be ashamed to show them."

And even though the singer enjoys having her own curves, she does admit, "I wish I had a little more of this and a little less this."
