Gwen Stefani Puts Second Album on Hold 12/8/05

Blonde beauty Gwen Stefani has delayed the release of her follow-up to multi-million selling debut Love Angel Music Baby, because she is too exhausted to promote it.

The Hollaback Girl singer has decided to place her health above her career, even though she has recorded a clutch of new sure-fire hits with production maestro Pharrell Williams.

The 36-year-old is planning to take a break from the spotlight to allow herself time to recover from her hugely successful 2005.

She says, "I have a really good record that I could put out, but I'm not going to do it.

"I decided that it's just more important that I take a nap.

"I just need to hibernate for a minute."
