Joel Madden and Hilary Duff are Complete Opposites 12/8/05

Goof Charlotte star Joel Madden believes his romance with Hilary Duff has been a success because they're complete opposites.

Clean-cut Duff, 18, stunned fans when she revealed she was dating the 26-year-old rocker, because they seemed so different. But Madden insists it's been the recipe for their success.
