Sex Pistol Helps Lost Star Sober Up  12/10/05

Recovering alcoholic Naveen Andrews credits Sex Pistols front man Steve Jones with helping him to stop drinking.

The Lost star, who moved from London to the US for rehabilitation treatment, feels forever indebted to punk rocker Jones, who offered his help after the pair bonded at a party.

He says, "I met Steve Jones from the Sex Pistols for the first time at a party, but I was tanked up (drunk) as usual.

"Afterwards he rang to ask if I'd thought about getting sober.

"He took me to my first Alcoholics Anonymous meeting and now he's my sponsor."
