Survivor Guatemala Delivers Largest Survivor Finale Audience Since May 04  12/12/05

"SURVIVOR: GUATEMALA'S" LAST TRIBAL COUNCIL DELIVERS THE LARGEST AUDIENCE FOR A FINALE SINCE "SURVIVOR: ALL-STARS" IN MAY 2004

"Survivor: Guatemala" Increases in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 Versus the Finale of "Survivor: Vanuatu" Last Year

Last night's two-hour finale of SURVIVOR: GUATEMALA -- THE MAYA EMPIRE delivered the largest audience for a "Survivor" finale since "Survivor: All-Stars" in May 2004, according to Nielsen preliminary affiliate based ratings for Sunday, Dec. 11.

(Editor's Note: Due to CBS's NFL overrun, all ratings are based on the 8:30-10:30 PM time period and subject to change. Final ratings will be available on Tuesday).

From 8:30-10:30 PM, the SURVIVOR: GUATEMALA finale posted a 11.9/17 with 21.26m viewers, 9.3/19 in adults 25-54, 7.8/17 in adults 18-49 and 5.3/13 in adults 18-34. In the 8:30-10:30PM time slot, SURVIVOR was first in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

Compared to last year's finale ("Survivor: Vanuatu"), CBS was up +9% in households (from 10.9/16), +8% in adults 25-54 (from 8.6/17), +4% in adults 18-49 (from 7.5/16) and even in adults 18-34. If the ratings hold, this is the best delivery in households, viewers and adults 25-54 since 5/9/04's "Survivor: All-Stars" finale.

From 10:30-11:30 PM, SURVIVOR: GUATEMALA -- THE LIVE REUNION averaged an 8.8/15 with 14.17m viewers, 6.4/16 in adults 25-54, 5.3/14 in adults 18-49 and 3.8/11 in adults 18-34.

For the night, CBS was first in households (12.1/18), viewers (20.56m), adults 25-54 (8.6/18), adults 18-49 (7.1/17) and adults 18-34 (5.0/14).
