Kate Beckinsale Regrets Anorexia Revelations  12/17/05

Kate Beckinsale insists too much has been made of her teenage anorexia because her eating disorder didn't last long.

The British actress regrets speaking publicly about her anorexia battle because there are more deserving cases.

She explains, "It was a very brief moment that was made into a big deal... I find it hard to categorize myself as having been anorexic. I just had a miserable six months.

"I was a nice posh girl from West London, so I probably wasn't going to become a crack addict... and that's the thing you do if you're a girl who grew up in a private school."
