BURBANK, Calif. - December 21, 2005 - In an interview with "Access
Hollywood," actor Jamie Foxx says that actor Colin Farrell is doing
"great" after spending time in rehab for an addiction to
prescription medication. The interview airs on "Access
Hollywood," Wednesday, December 21, 2005 (check local listings for
time and station).
"Colin Farrell is great, don't believe all of the hype," said
Foxx when asked how his "Miami Vice" co-star was doing after
checking out of rehab. The Oscar(r)-winner and musician added that
Farrell's family spent a lot of time on the set of the film and there were
no apparent signs of trouble. "He is such a family man, (his)
sister...father and mom (were all) on set."
Foxx added that Farrell has been taking refuge in his Hollywood home,
where he hopes the press will give him a break. "He's at my house
kickin' it," he said. "I just really want to protect people like
that, but sometimes they are after him because he is such a nice guy. He
is so fun-loving and loves the world."
"Access Hollywood" is produced by NBC and distributed by NBC
Universal Domestic Television Distribution. Rob K. Silverstein is the
executive producer.
