Former Bawatch star David Charvet and his girlfriend of four months, Rock star INXS host Brooke Burke, have reportedly split.

A friend of Burke's tells American showbiz magazine In Touch the romance didn't work out because the actress is still nursing a broken heart from the break-up of her marriage to plastic surgeon Garth Fisher.

A pal tells the magazine, "Things with David got hot and heavy very quickly."
