Elton John Slams Madonna  12/21/05

Sir Elton John slammed Madonna as a "miserable cow" after she failed to attend his pre-wedding cabaret on Monday night (19DEC05), according to British newspaper The Daily Mirror.

The Candle in the Wind hit maker, 58, reportedly hit out at the pop superstar during a speech thanking guests and performers for attending the lavish London bash.

John will exchange vows with long-term love David Furnish later today (21DEC05), taking advantage of new British laws affording gay unions the same legal protection enjoyed within traditional marriages.

John reportedly said, "Madonna, the miserable cow, wouldn't do it. David asked her three times."
