Jack Black Blames King Kong Lost Weekend for Smoking Habit  12/23/05

Working on King Kong turned funnyman Jack Black back onto nicotine after a year of not smoking.

The actor/rocker blames a "lost weekend" on the set in New Zealand, where he literally went crazy, for his renewed smoking habit.

He explains, "I'm not one of those dudes who come drunk to the set, but there was a lost weekend where I had a little time off and I did some Ecstasy and I went on a kind of crazy rampage and I started smoking.

"Me and another member of the cast, who will remain nameless, just running around, dancing around, drinking and ecstasising (sic), smoking like a chimney.

And then it was over. I was fully back."
