Simon Cowell's Christmas in the Indian Ocean  12/24/05

British music mogul Simon Cowell is taking his family with him to celebrate Christmas in Mauritius this year (05).

The X Factor and American Idol judge hates the cold and has spent the past 20 years in hotter climes, away from his native England.

He says, "It's going to be in Mauritius this year. We usually have a roast dinner. It's still traditional, just somewhere with a much nicer climate than Britain.

"I buy all the presents at duty free because I leave everything to the last minute."
