British glamour model Katie Price is in the early stages of pregnancy after suffering a miscarriage in July (06).

Price - formerly known as Jordan - is married to Australian pop star Peter Andre, and has two children, Harvey, four, and Junior, 17 months.

Price was three-and-a-half months into her pregnancy this summer when she was rushed to Portland Hospital in London with stomach pains.

And the 28-year-old is desperate to avoid the stress of hiding her impending motherhood, fearing anxiety was the cause of her miscarriage.

She says, "I don't want to jinx anything but I'm due next summer (07).

"The reason we're announcing it so early is I'm fed up with trying to hide it every time I'm pregnant.

"Because I had the miscarriage earlier this year I'm really scared. That's why I'm saying it earlier than I normally would.

"It's more successful to keep it secret and I'm really suffering with sickness as well."
