British model/actress Elizabeth Hurley's wedding plans have fallen behind schedule because she initially refused to hire professional help.

The Austin Powers star is due to wed millionaire partner Arun Nayar in two lavish ceremonies in March next year (07), but has yet to book either the Barnsley House hotel near her English farm retreat in Gloucestershire, or the Devi Garh Palace hotel in Rajasthan, India, where she is hoping to exchange vows.

A friend of the couple explains, "Elizabeth has taken on far too much trying to do this wedding herself, not least because she's been doing her new swimwear range at the same time.

"Of course she wants everything to be perfect, but she's realized she needs help and has enlisted a professional wedding planner."
