David Gest Delighted Over Reality Show Image  12/12/06

Music mogul David Gest is delighted his recent reality TV appearance has quashed the "hurtful" rumors written about him before the show.

Gest, who is in the middle of a bitter divorce battle with estranged wife Liza Minnelli, has admitted his stint on British reality show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! has completely changed how the public think of him now.

He says, "I stopped reading the papers long ago because there was so much crap written about me. Apparently I had tattooed eyebrows, masses of plastic surgery, only married Liza because I was obsessed with Judy Garland and of course I was gay. All of it was crap. But I tried to ignore it.
