Jamie Foxx Struggled to Get Through Dreamgirls Scene With Jennifer Hudson  12/14/06

Singer/actor Jamie Foxx was barely able to keep his composure while filming an emotional scene with Dreamgirls co-star Jennifer Hudson, because he was so moved by her singing.

The Ray star had to keep reminding himself that he was an Oscar winner and that he should remain professional during Hudson's show-stopping performance of And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going.

He explains, "I'll never forget when Jennifer Hudson was singing that song and I'm supposed to be this mean, tough dude.

"She's singing it so good, I'll be welling up and stuff, I'm like, 'You gotta hold it together. You got an Oscar. You got to be better than this!'

"I've got the Oscar and I'm up there (crying) saying, 'Oh my goodness, this is so incredible.'

Foxx admits that winning an Oscar has added pressure to his performance in all areas of his life adding, "Even when I'm making love, I'm like, 'Is this all you got? C'mon!'"
