"Survivor: Cook Islands" Props and Memorabilia up for Bid
December 17-28 to Benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation
Fans Are Encouraged to Visit www.pedaids.org and Outlast, Outplay and
Outbid All for a Great Cause
SANTA MONICA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Stranded in the same
remote waters of the Cook Islands that witnessed the real-life
"Mutiny on the Bounty" over 200 years ago, the castaways of the
CBS-TV adventure series, "Survivor: Cook Islands," mirrored
history with their own mutinies and hidden idols on the most talked about
season yet. On Sunday, December 17, the world will discover which scheming
competitor on "Survivor: Cook Islands" will earn the coveted
million-dollar prize and the title of "Sole Survivor." And once
again, fans can be part of the action. "Survivor: Cook Islands"
has partnered with the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation to offer
exclusive props and memorabilia from the show on an online auction. The
charity auction will run from Sunday, December 17 through Thursday,
December 28. All proceeds will benefit the Foundation and support their
work to eradicate pediatric HIV and AIDS.
"We are so pleased that we are able to offer the props from
'Survivor: Cook Islands' to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS
Foundation," said Survivor executive producer and Elizabeth Glaser
Pediatric AIDS Foundation Board Member, Mark Burnett. "Each time
someone bids on props or memorabilia from 'Survivor,' they are ensuring a
healthier future for children all over the world. I am proud that the
'Survivor' series has been able to help raise awareness of the
Foundation's work and provide vital funding. To date, the partnership has
raised close to $1.8 million."
Out Bid Other "Survivor: Cook Islands" Fans to Own a Piece of
the Game
"Survivor: Cook Islands" began with the 20 castaways aboard
an ancient ship in the heart of the South Pacific -- a precursor to the
wild events to come. Jumping overboard and beginning the arduous paddle to
their beaches, it was clear to the competitors that this edition of the
series would push them to their limits. For "Survivor" fans,
your challenge is to bid to own more than 300 one-of-a-kind items from
"Survivor: Cook Islands." Just a few of the prized souvenirs
available for sale include:
-- "Survivor: Cook Islands" Castaway Torches, Tribal Flags
and Banners
-- Immunity Necklace and Immunity Idol
-- The "Survivor: Cook Islands" Voting Urn with Final Votes
-- Second chance to bid on items from "Survivors: Pearl Islands,
Vanuatu, and Guatemala"
-- Two tickets to next season's live finale episode in New York City!
For A Winning Bid, Log Onto www.pedaids.org
Immediately following the West Coast airing of "Survivor: Cook
Islands" on Sunday, December 17 (11:00 PM PST), log onto
www.pedaids.org to make the winning bid and become the lucky owner of
priceless keepsakes from "Survivor: Cook Islands." The charity
auction will run from Sunday, December 17 through Thursday, December 28,

benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
"SURVIVOR" AND THE ELIZABETH GLASER PEDIATRIC AIDS FOUNDATION
