The Finale of "Survivor: Cook Islands" Wins the Night in Viewers and Key Demographics

CBS Matches Sunday Season High Ratings in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54

CBS and Yul Kwon emerged as big winners on Sunday as the Network placed first in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen preliminary Live Plus same-day ratings for Dec. 17 while Yul was voted the ultimate Survivor in the finale of SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS.

Editors Note: CBS had late running football in a small number of East Coast and Central Time Zone markets until 7:15 PM with the Broncos at Cardinals.

From 8:00-10:00 PM, the SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS FINALE (S) was first in households (9.3/14), viewers (16.43m), adults 25-54 (7.0/14) and adults 18-49 (5.7/13).

At 10:00PM, SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS REUNION was first in viewers (13.52m), adults 25-54 (6.1/14), adults 18-49 (5.1/13) and second in households (8.0/13, -0.1 behind NBC's tentative football delivery).

For the night, CBS was first in households (8.9/14), viewers (15.07m), adults 25-54 (6.0/14) and adults 18-49 (4.7/11). CBS matched season-high Sunday deliveries in both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.
