The Killers and Carmen Electra to Ring in the New Year at Studio Party  12/20/06

The Killers and Carmen Electra will be turning Hollywood's Paramount Studios into New York's Times Square on New Year's Eve (31DEC06) to recreate the Big Apple's famous ball-drop ceremony.

Electra will host the festivities on the Los Angeles lot at the famed studios, while rockers The Killers will headline the musical part of the evening, playing into 2007.

Event spokesman Chris Davison says, "We'll have a mirror ball drop and fireworks so it'll be like the big east coast New Year's Eve party on the west coast."
