Hilary Duff and Joel Madden Drop Half of Stalker Case  12/20/06

Split couple Hilary Duff and Joel Madden have requested a dismissal of efforts to get a temporary restraining order in place against an alleged stalker.

The former couple's lawyers have asked authorities to drop all legal matters concerning photographer David Joseph Klein, which they filed back in October (06).

Klein's roommate, Maksim Miakovsky, was served with a restraining order and told to stay away from the couple and their families.

The 18-year-old was arrested and charged with making criminal threats and stalking Duff last month (NOV06).
