Britney Spears Pal to Testify in Custody Battle  12/3/07

Britney Spears' dancer pal Sam Lutfi has been subpoenaed to testify in the pop star's ongoing custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Lutfi will be questioned when the couple and lawyers representing them resume their battle for sons Sean Preston and Jayden James in January (08).

Lutfi was reportedly supposed to appear in court on Friday (30Nov07), but his deposition has been rescheduled.

Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, has confirmed that Spears' dancer pal was served a subpoena calling for his attendance in court on Friday, but he "didn't show".

Kaplan plans to seek a court order to ensure that Lutfi attends the January court session.
