Trés Bien! Eliminated From "The Next Great American Band"  12/3/07

TRÈS BIEN! IS ELIMINATED FROM “THE NEXT GREAT AMERICAN BAND” COMPETITION

THE TOP 4 BANDS PERFORM QUEEN SONGS FRIDAY, DECEMBER 7, ON FOX

The competition narrowed tonight on THE NEXT GREAT AMERICAN BAND as Très Bien! received the fewest votes and was eliminated from the competition. Très Bien! is a rock/funk band from Philadelphia, PA. The remaining Top 5 bands each performed a Rod Stewart song on tonight’s show.

Next week, one more band will be eliminated based on tonight’s voting results, and the Top 4 bands will perform a song by Queen as well as a song of their own.

The remaining bands include The Clark Brothers, a Bluegrass/Country band from Nashville, TN; Denver and the Mile High Orchestra, a Big Band/Swing Band from Nashville, TN; Dot Dot Dot, a Modern Rock band from Chicago, IL; Light of Doom, a Heavy Metal band from San Marcos, CA; and Sixwire, a Country band from Nashville, TN.

Find out who is eliminated and who makes it into the Top 4 on THE NEXT GREAT AMERICAN BAND Friday, Dec. 7 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

QUEEN rose to popularity in the mid-1970s, topping the U.S. charts with singles such as "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and "Another One Bites the Dust." They were rediscovered by a whole new generation of fans when "Bohemian Rhapsody," Freddie Mercury’s classic rock opus, was featured in the 1992 movie "Wayne's World," taking the song to the Top 10 for a second time. Their rock anthems "We Are the Champions" and "We Will Rock You" continue to be among the most-played tracks both on the radio and at sports stadiums across America.
