Eva Mendes Strips Off to Protest Fur  12/8/07

Actress Eva Mendes has joined animal lovers like Pamela Anderson and Alicia Silverstone by becoming the latest star to pose nude in protest at the fur trade.

The Hitch star was approached by People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA) after she was photographed wearing a real fur wrap - and was so inspired by their cause, she agreed to bare all for one of their anti-fur advertisements.

Mendes, 32, says, "PETA wrote me a beautiful letter commenting on my less-than-educated choice. I was so impressed I vowed to never wear real fur again."
