Russell Crowe in Talks to Play Dirty Harry  12/11/07

Russell Crowe is in talks to give movie cop Dirty Harry a new look.

The Gladiator star is tipped to headline a remake of Clint Eastwood's movie classic, according to internet reports.

The new film will recreate the original, taking Crowe - or whoever lands the role of tough detective Harry Callahan - back to early 1970s San Francisco, California.
