The Goo Goo Dolls to Perform on FOX TV's "Next Great American Band" Finale

BURBANK, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 12/14/07 -- One of America's best loved bands, The Goo Goo Dolls, will perform live on the season finale of "The Next Great American Band," scheduled to air Friday, December 21st at 8:00PM ET/PT on FOX. Check local listings for details.

The ultimate battle of the bands will end in a final showdown and the winner will be announced by the panel of judges, which includes singer-songwriter Johnny Rzeznik of The Goo Goo Dolls, percussionist Sheila E., and Aussie TV host Ian "Dicko" Dickson. The Next Great American Band will be named and will secure a contract with 19 Recordings a week from this Friday. Highlighting the season finale will be a live performance of "Broadway" by The Goo Goo Dolls. The track can be found on their recently released Warner Bros. Records album, "THE GOO GOO DOLLS GREATEST HITS VOLUME ONE - THE SINGLES," available now.

A second collection of rarities, B-sides, remixes, a complete live concert DVD and lots more will be assembled into a deluxe package and planned for release early in 2008. Details will be revealed shortly.
