Celine Dion Closes in Las Vegas With $400 Million  12/16/07

Celine Dion's A New Day show in Las Vegas will have grossed a whopping $400 million when the spectacular ends on Saturday night (15Dec07).

The Canadian began her residency at Caesar's Palace venue the Colosseum four-and-a-half years ago (03), and has since performed 717 shows at the venue.

Dion now plans to concentrate on a world tour in 2008. Bette Midler will take her place at the Colosseum - she'll perform 250 shows as part of a two-and-a-half-year run at the venue.
