Actor Hugh Grant has a secret crush on British monarch Queen Elizabeth II, according to ex-girlfriend Jemima Khan.

The Notting Hill star would often dream about the 80-year-old royal leading to a "stalkerish obsession", according to Khan.

She says, "He'd dream about her regularly and would accept the most unlikely invitations just for a chance to see her.

"She asked him politely what brought him to a reception for the Italian president, for example, and he claimed to have a passion for Italy.
