Nicolas Cage Wants a National Treasure Ride  12/18/07

Nicolas Cage is begging Disneyland bosses to create a new ride based on his movie franchise National Treasure.

The actor is a huge theme park fan and insists it's his dream to ride his own rollercoaster.

National Treasure and new sequel Book of Secrets were produced by Disney - and Cage is hoping they will grant him his wish.

He says, "My biggest thrill would be if Disney was so happy with the movie that they gave it a ride.

"Because I love amusement parks and I love Disneyland and I would love to see a National Treasure ride. That would be a dream come true for me."

Disney movie Pirates of the Caribbean was based on a ride at the Disney World resort.
