Jessica Simpson Goes Public With Tony Romo Romance  12/17/07

Pop star Jessica Simpson has made her romance with American football star Tony Romo public - after showing up at the Dallas Cowboys' Sunday (16Dec07) game wearing a miniature version of his jersey.

Donning a white jersey emblazoned with Romo's number nine, Simpson cheered on her new love from the stands - but her presence failed to help the quarterback's side to victory, and the Texas team lost 6-10 to the Philadelphia Eagles.

And the backlash from hardcore Cowboys fans appears to have already started - local newspaper the Dallas Morning News claims Romo was verbally attacked as he left the arena, with one female fan shouting, "Worry about the game, not your girlfriend!"
